The members of the Congregation Tephereth Israel are pleased to invite all persons of the Jewish faith in the Central Connecticut area, regardless of affiliation to help us celebrate our 94th consecutive Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services. All services are free to all Jews who wish to worship with our members. We are also extending an invitation to alumni of Tephereth Israel and Temple B’nai Israrel to come and help us celebrate the holidays.
High Holiday services will be held on September 30, October 1, 8, and 9, 2019. We believe there are many Jews in our area that would like to participate in these services, and hope that by opening the Synagogue to all, we will be able to provide a special opportunity to renew the joys of the High Holidays.
In addition, we are once again being guided by Rabbi Andrew Hechtman of Cheshire, Connecticut, who officiated in 2018. Services are held at the Synagogue on 76 Winter Street, New Britain, CT 06051.
